Learning how to manage left knee inflammation is part of Chicago Cubs left-hander Brandon Hughes’ everyday reality. The issue stems from Hughes’ 2015 surgery to repair the meniscus in his left knee. Since then, his left knee has no cartilage and is essentially bone-on-bone, Hughes explained, constantly leading to inflammation.
