Oakland A’s 2024 schedule: A’s will open what might be final season at Coliseum at home

Published Mon, 24 Feb 2025 09:48:27 GMT

OAKLAND – The A’s will open their 56th, and likely final, season at the Coliseum at home on March 28 against the Cleveland Guardians. But even if approval is granted, construction on the new stadium isn’t expected to be completed until 2028, leaving at least a three-year gap for the A’s to find a suitable stadium to play home games, although it appears unlikely the team will remain in Oakland after the Coliseum lease expires. This will be the seventh time in franchise history that the A’s have opened their season against Cleveland, with the mos...
